Introduction
"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers...And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people." Acts 2:42, 46
Roosevelt home groups, along with our Sunday church service, are at the heart of community life at RCC. They provide a setting for more personalized spiritual growth and care. These home "churches" are often the best place to develop a more intimate relationship with God and others and to equip RCC members to be better ambassadors of Christ.
Our home groups meet several times a month, usually in someone's home, for a time of prayer, learning from God's word, accountability, and fellowship. In addition, our home groups regularly seek to do projects to serve our church family and our city.
Service Project Opportunities
"So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith." Galatians 6:18
"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction..." James 1:27
